Financial account verification allows users to verify their identity by logging into their chosen financial account, serving as a method of identity proof.
Post successfully logging into their respective financial accounts (Powered by Mastercard), the user's details fetched from the financial institutions are then matched with the details in the user object.
This endpoint can generate a "Connect URL." Using this link, users can connect their financial account(s) to prove their identity verification.
Notes:-
- After successful login and PII verification, the user's PII (Full Legal Name) becomes immutable in the User Object.
- The default limit is set to one (immutable), which means only one financial account will be processed to check ownership per connect URL. The default limit can only be changed if Financial Account Owner Verification is utilized through Medallion workflows.
