Federal Level Court Checks

Detailed background verification by searching criminal records in Federal Databases.

The "Federal Level Court Checks" API comprehensively searches federal criminal and civil court records, targeting offenses defined under U.S. federal laws. Federal crimes are investigated by federal agencies and prosecuted in federal courts across the country. These crimes often include offenses committed on U.S. federal property or Indian reservations and are cataloged primarily under Title 18 and Title 26 of the United States Code. A detailed list of federal crimes can be accessed here.

This API allows users to retrieve all available federal criminal records for an individual. It also accesses federal civil records, encompassing litigation and judgments handled at the federal level. Results from these checks are delivered asynchronously through Webhooks, specifically via the CRIMINAL_REQUEST_STATUS_UPDATE event.

Comprehensive outcomes can be subsequently retrieved through the Retrieve Results of County & Federal Verification Records API, ensuring users receive thorough and timely data for informed decision-making.
